Program Information
This webinar was run by the Northeastern IPM Center with funding from HUD and USDA.
Presenters: Molly Stedfast from the Dodson Urban Pest Management Lab at Virginia Tech and Allison Taisey, Project Coordinator at the Northeastern IPM Center.
Property owners/managers and those responsible for bed bug control at multifamily properties are encouraged to view. Viewers will gain an understanding of integrated pest management for bed bugs and learn which parts of a control program can be done by staff. Bringing program components in-house may cut costs, improve resident compliance, allow housing to better track the efficacy of its program, and focus prevention-based strategies.
This webinar is not an introduction to bed bugs. Presenters assume a basic knowledge of bed bug biology, behavior and control. For an introduction to bed bugs, view the IPM in Multifamily Housing presentation on bed bugs.
