Some pesticides effect the behavior of pests and may cause them to come out and stumble around. At this point they are poisoned, probably not feeding, and will soon die. If insects are wandering around the living space, suck them up with a vacuum cleaner using the pantyhose method described on the StopPests Blog or throw away the vacuum bag/canister contents in a sealed bag in an outdoor trash can or dumpster. Do not spray—they're already dying.
