How do you set a mouse trap?

  1. Remove the staple that holds the straight piece of wire in place.
  2. Bait the trap with whatever the mouse is eating in your home or some sort of nesting material like a cotton ball.
  3. Flip the snapping U wire over so it’s ready to snap. Keep your thumb holding it down.
  4. Bring the straight wire over the U and hook it into the trigger (where the bait is).
  5. Gently release your thumb so that the U is pressed up against the holding wire.
  6. Gently place the trap with the trigger (baited) end against the wall.
